BUPA slash rates for health screening

We have reached an agreement with BUPA that secures discounts of up to 25% off the price of their health screens for new screening programmes. A standard male health assessment now costs £311; for a woman, it is £330.

Screening is a means of detecting early signs of heart disease, cancer and other conditions that can be effectively treated if picked up early. Amongst other elements included are dietary analysis, body fat measurement, fitness assessment and tests that give people in indication of how successful they are in their attempts to lead a healthy life.

Being healthy is obviously good for people, but healthy employees are also a bonus for their employer. In addition, research shows that providing health screening as a benefit makes employees feel more valued and leads to them staying longer in their jobs. If enough people go through the process, BUPA will provide a report on the overall health status of the company and how it compares to other similar firms.

The discounted rates that we have secured are not dependent on volume usage and can be made available to employees and their families even if the company is not prepared to subsidise the cost.
