In the first two articles, our author consultants share their thoughts on how the governance movement is changing global corporations’ compensation programmes. They address the governance-inspired changes companies must consider in the management and reporting of their executive compensation programmes. A third article focuses on the impact of mandatory stock option expensing on equity-based long-term incentive (LTI) programmes. Specifically, it reports the findings of HR&IS’ 2004 survey of LTI programmes at 170 companies operating in 30 countries.
